Opening an Existing PEN File

This topic provides a brief tutorial to the opening of an existing Data File within PEN3D. Click on the text balloons or scroll down for detailed descriptions.

 

Data Files

 

It is assumed that the Data File has already been created.  See Create a New Data File.

 

Opening Data Files

Select File /Open as

Select Open Button

 

Initially the program now displays a PEN open source dialog box

Simply select the project file and OK.

 

If the data file is not part of the project then the normal Open dialog bow will appear followed by the option to save the file to the project file along with a suitable description.
