Editing Using the Zoom Window

This topic provides a brief guide to Editing using the Zoom Window user interface of PEN3D . Click on the text balloons or scroll down for detailed descriptions.

To enter new objects

 

1.Select the appropriate object, refer to Draw Options for drawing tools.
2.Now position the map to the desired location using the View Manipulation tools of the Zoom Toolbar.
3.Now select the start (Draw) button using the Digitising tools of the  Zoom Toolbar.
4.Now move the mouse pointer to the start location and left click;

5.Continue digitising until complete then press the Stop button to terminate the contour or the loop button to add a final line segment between the last digitised point (Point C) and the first digitised Point (Point A) using the Digitising tools of the  Zoom Toolbar

 

To Modify Existing Objects

.

1.Click on or close to the object.  This places select tags at each end of the object;

2.The options are either to enter the value in the Property Pane

3.Or place the mouse pointer into select tags and drag the end of the object to the new location
