This topic provides a brief tutorial to the Creation of a New Project within PEN3D. Click on the text balloons or scroll down for detailed descriptions.
Projects
All files associated with a project are retained in a project file, normally having a ".job" extension.
The project file contains lists of the data files and map files and a short description of each file.
To Create an New Project
| 1. | Close down current data file; |
| 2. | Select menu item |
| 3. | Click on the browse button and select the directory for the project file |

| 4. | Then enter the project name in the file name dialog box and select Open |
| 5. | The new job is entered in the drop down box; |
| 6. | Now Go to the Data Directory Tab and select Browse. Browse to the Directory to retain the data files and press OK; |
| 7. | Now do the same for Bitmap Directory and Output Directory |
| 8. | Press OK button and PEN3D opens the following dialog to permit Job Code and descriptions to be entered. |
| 9. | Now simply Press OK and PEN3D with create the a new Project and reset all file links to the new Project |
