This topic provides a brief guide to the Batch Calculation options of PEN3D's user interface. Click on the text balloons or scroll down for detailed descriptions.
Batch calculations are required to calculate the noise levels in Calculation Boxes and present the results as contours.
All data files must be closed.
To enter the batch calculation options select
This opens the Batch Calculations Options dialog.
To Calculate the Noise for a data file:
To batch a file(s) move the file to the right list box and click run. PEN3D will step through the files and run each in turn. After all the files are complete close this dialog box and open the file and select display contours.
If the batched file also contains point calculations the results may be obtained from a new menu item file view/Calculation results.
